We Checked 31 Exams' Photo Specs Against the Official Notices — Where Popular Sites Get Them Wrong
24 Oct 2026 · 8 min read · JobCareerUpdates Blog
The short answer
Humne is site ke saare 31 exam presets ko ek-ek karke unke official notices se milaya — har pixel, har KB range. Neeche woh poori table hai jo is jaanch se nikli. Saath me woh bhi hai jo humein bahar mila: desh ki sabse badi exam-photo resizer site ki homepage table me aaj bhi aisi figures chal rahi hain jo kisi notice me hain hi nahi — Mizoram PSC photo "0–10240 KB" (matlab 10 MB tak ki photo!), Kerala PSC "0–30 KB", aur UPSC ke liye woh size jo asal range se milta hi nahi. Galat spec matlab reject form — isiliye ye audit.
The audit table: 31 exams, notice ke hisaab se
Har row ke preset page par us exam ka official source diya hai — row par click karke aap khud mila sakte ho. Ek imandaar note pehle: jahan kisi body ne sirf KB range diya hai (NEET jaise NTA exams), wahan pixel size hamara tested working size hai, official figure nahi — hum use waisa hi kehte hain. Jahan signature ke saamne — hai, wahan hamare verified preset data me us exam ki alag signature spec nahi hai.

Jahan bade sites galat hain — saboot ke saath
Ye koi andaza nahi hai. Humne is niche ki sabse badi resizer site — ExamMint — ki homepage spec table ko apne October 2026 ke audit me fetch karke padha tha. Usme ye sab chhapa hua mila:
- Mizoram PSC photo: "0–10240 KB". 10240 KB matlab lagbhag 10 MB. Koi bhi PSC apne form me 10 MB ki photo nahi maangta — ye ek placeholder value hai jo bina jaanche live ho gayi. Aur "0 KB" minimum ka matlab hai: koi minimum bataya hi nahi, jabki asli notices me floors hote hain (neeche wala point dekho).
- Kerala PSC: "0–30 KB". Wahi 0 KB wali kahani — table bharne ke liye daala gaya number, notice se mila hua nahi.
- UPSC: "400×400 px, 20–200 KB". UPSC ka official niyam ek range hai — 350×350 se 1000×1000 px, 20–300 KB. 400×400 ek tool ka apna target ho sakta hai, lekin use official spec kehna galat hai; aur 200 KB ki cap bhi asal 300 KB se kam hai. Poora sach hamare UPSC photo size guide me hai.
- AAI ATC par SSC wali size chipki hui. Usi table me AAI ATC ke saamne banking/SSC-style 200×230 px aur 140×60 px rows chal rahi hain. Humne apne pehle ke official-document kaam me AAI ke apne documents se milakar dekha tha — ye figures AAI ki sharton se mel nahi khaati. Ek galat table, aur wohi galti us site ke 120 pages par dohraayi gayi.
- NEET ka "official pixel size". Ye galti ek site ki nahi, aadhe internet ki hai: NTA ka bulletin NEET photo ke liye sirf KB range (10–200 KB) deta hai, pixel size deta hi nahi. Phir bhi har jagah ek pakka pixel number "official" bankar ghumta hai. Sach hamare NEET complete guide me hai.
Breadth vs accuracy — imandaar hisaab
Sach ye hai ki ExamMint ke paas 120+ presets hain aur hamare paas 31. Isme koi sharmaane ki baat nahi — lekin doosra sach ye bhi hai ki unki ek table bina per-figure source ke chhapti hai, aur upar wali galtiyaan usi bina-saboot system ka nateeja hain. Hamari har figure ke peeche ek notice hai, har preset page par uska source likha hai, aur har blog guide ke neeche verification ki tareekh. Aapko form bharna hai, lottery nahi khelni — ek galat KB aur saal barbaad. Isiliye hum pehle 31 ko pakka karte hain, phir aage badhte hain.
Aap khud kaise check karein (2 minute)
Kisi bhi site — hamari bhi — par bharosa karne se pehle ye teen cheezein dekho: (1) Kya figure ke saath uska official source (notice/bulletin ka naam ya link) diya hai? (2) Kya page par "last verified" ki tareekh hai, ya figure kisi purane cycle ki uthayi hui lagti hai? (3) Kya number asal duniya me samajh aata hai — 10 MB ki passport photo, ya 0 KB minimum, jaise ajeeb numbers dikhein to wohi sabse bada red flag hai. Teeno test me fail hone wali table ko form bharne ke kaam me mat lao.
Sources & verification: Upar ki table ke saare figures hamare verified preset data se hain — har preset apne exam ke official notification/bulletin par bana hai, aur har preset page par uska source diya hai. ExamMint ki table ke examples hamare October 2026 competitor audit me fetch ki gayi unki live homepage table se hain. Poori table 24 October 2026 ko dobara check ki gayi. Apne form ki antim shart hamesha uske current notification se milao.

Kisi site ki size table par aankh band karke bharosa kar sakta hoon?
Nahi — is audit ki sabse badi seekh yahi hai. Table chahe kitni bhi badi site ki ho, apne form ki photo-signature shartein ek baar us exam ke current notification me zaroor milao. Notification hi final hai; site ki table sirf shortcut hai, saboot nahi.
Aapke paas sirf 31 preset kyun hain, jab doosri sites 100+ deti hain?
Kyunki hum sirf wahi preset ship karte hain jiska official notice humne khud padha aur verify kiya ho. 100+ wali tables me aksar ek hi template har exam par chipka hota hai — aur galti bhi har page par dohrah jaati hai, jaise Mizoram PSC ki "0–10240 KB" wali row. Breadth unki jeet hai, isme jhooth nahi; hamari shart accuracy hai.
Notice aur site ki figure alag ho to kaunsi sahi maanu?
Hamesha notice wali. Aur agar woh site humari hi ho to humein batao — hum preset aur page dono theek karenge. Specs cycles ke saath badalte hain, isiliye har preset page par uska source aur check ki tareekh di hoti hai.
Galat size ki photo upload kar di to kya hota hai?
Aksar do me se ek: ya portal upload par hi mana kar deta hai, ya application scrutiny me atak jaati hai aur correction window ka intezaar karna padta hai. Kuch exams me galat image par form seedha reject bhi hota hai. Isiliye upload se pehle do minute ki jaanch sabse sasti bachat hai.
NEET photo ka pixel size kya hai, sach me?
NTA ka bulletin NEET ke liye sirf KB range deta hai — photo 10–200 KB. Koi official pixel size hai hi nahi. Jo site aapko "NEET photo 200×230 pixels" ko official keh kar de, woh apna andaza official bana kar bech rahi hai. Hamara preset 275×354 px par photo taiyaar karta hai — ye ek tested working size hai jo KB window ke andar baithta hai, aur hum use waisa hi label karte hain.
