INI CET Exam Pattern
One CBT paper with a distinctive negative-marking rule — read it carefully.
| Component | Details |
|---|---|
| Total questions | 200 MCQs |
| Duration | 180 minutes (3 hours), in 4 parts |
| Correct answer | +1 mark |
| Wrong answer | −1/3 mark |
| More than 2 responses per question | Proportionate extra negative marking applies (see prospectus) |
| Unattempted | 0 marks |
The response sheet and answer key are published after the exam; objections can be filed through the portal.
INI CET Syllabus — What to Study
The paper is drawn from the MBBS/BDS course in three subject groups. The Jan 2027 prospectus does not print a subject-wise question split — be wary of sites that show one.
