About the role

Stripe is building its Accounting team in Bangalore Finance. This analyst plays a critical part in managing general-ledger activities and accurate close processes across specialised areas including debt, prepaids, intercompany transactions and lease accounting, and is expected to use AI tools, automation and advanced analytics to streamline workflows.

What you will do

Own end-to-end accounting schedules, journal entries and balance-sheet reconciliations
Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities within timelines
Run variance analysis on P&L and balance-sheet lines and provide commentary to management
Support internal and external audits with schedules, documentation and workpapers
Use ERP automation and AI-driven tools to improve accuracy and close speed

Skills & eligibility

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong general-ledger and financial-close knowledge
Ability to use advanced data tools on large volumes of financial data
Detail orientation under tight deadlines
