Bihar ANM Eligibility

You needed a 2-year full-time Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) from a recognised ANM training institute, and registration with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC) was mandatory. The job is contractual under NHM — initial contract of 11 months, extendable up to age 60 subject to performance and programme approval — with a monthly honorarium of ₹15,000.
Age was counted as on 1 August 2025: minimum 21 years, maximum 40 years for UR/EWS (Female) and BC/EBC (Female), and 42 years for SC/ST (Female), with +10 years for PwD and +5 years for departmental candidates. The application fee was ₹500 for UR/BC/EBC/EWS and outside-Bihar candidates, and ₹125 for SC/ST (Bihar), all Bihar-resident female candidates and PwD candidates.
