You must be a qualified NEET(UG)-2026 candidate and eligible under the UGMAC-2026 Prospectus (downloadable from bceceboard.bihar.gov.in). Your UGMAC rank is prepared from your NEET UG 2026 All India Rank.
For the Stray Vacancy Round, fresh applicants are candidates who never registered and paid in the earlier rounds and who are not admitted in any medical or dental college of India. Candidates admitted through UGMAC Rounds 1/2/3, AIQ Rounds 1/2/3, or allotted in the AIQ stray round are NOT eligible for this round.

Counselling Fee & Security Deposit (Official)
From UGMAC-2026 Adv. No. 2026/14. The counselling fee is non-refundable; the security deposit is refundable under the prospectus rules.

Is Bihar UGMAC 2026 counselling still open?
Yes — the Stray Vacancy Round is live. BCECEB's Notice Board lists Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/16 dated 22 Oct 2026, which extends the stray-round online application and choice-filling window. Rounds 1, 2 and 3 are already over.
What is the UGMAC counselling fee?
For government colleges: ₹1,200 for UR/EWS/BC/EBC and ₹600 for SC/ST/DQ candidates. If private colleges are included in your choices, the fee is ₹1,200 for all categories. The fee is non-refundable. A refundable security deposit is charged separately — ₹10,000/₹5,000 for government and up to ₹2,00,000 for private medical.
Who cannot join the UGMAC stray vacancy round?
Candidates admitted through UGMAC Rounds 1/2/3, admitted through AIQ Rounds 1/2/3, allotted a seat in the AIQ stray round, or admitted in any medical/dental college in India are not eligible. Fresh applicants must not have registered and paid in the earlier rounds.

What is the security deposit for private medical colleges in UGMAC?
₹2,00,000 for private medical colleges (all categories). Private dental is ₹50,000, and private medical + dental combined is ₹2,00,000. Government medical/dental/veterinary deposits are ₹10,000 (UR/EWS) or ₹5,000 (SC/ST/BC/EBC). Deposits are refundable under the prospectus rules.
