SRMJEEE is SRM Institute of Science and Technology's entrance for B.Tech admission across the SRM group — the Chennai campuses (Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Tiruchirappalli), Delhi-NCR Ghaziabad, SRM University Sonepat and SRM University AP. It is taken from home in remote-proctored mode, in three phases. SRMJEEE 2027 had not been announced on any official SRM page as of 23 Oct 2026 — the portal still showed the closed 2026 application — so the details below are from SRMJEEE 2026 and SRM's official syllabus document.

SRMJEEE Eligibility
From the official SRMIST "Admission India — Engineering" page.
You must have passed (or be appearing in) the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in the regular stream from a board within India — CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, IB or NIOS — with a minimum 60% aggregate in three subjects: Physics (mandatory), Mathematics (mandatory), and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology.
Age: you should have attained 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which your 12th Board examination is to be held. There is no domicile requirement. NRI/PIO/OCI candidates must apply through the separate International application form only.
- 60% aggregate across Physics + Mathematics + one listed third subject
- For Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering / Biomedical programmes the 60% may be in PCM / PMB / PCB
- Students without Chemistry take a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year
- Bio-stream (PCBEA) candidates: B.Tech Biotechnology and its specialisations, and B.Tech Biomedical Engineering

How to Apply for SRMJEEE
Applications for 2027 are To be announced. The official portal steps (applications.srmist.edu.in/btech) are:

- 2Verify via email.
- 3Fill the application form online — personal and academic details; keep the Class 10th mark statement ready.
- 4Upload the required documents (photograph and signature at the sizes above).
- 5Pay the application fee — ₹1,400 per phase, non-refundable. Fill a separate form and pay separately for each additional phase you want to attempt.
After submission an application number is generated — save it. Campus/programme preference in the form is for statistical purposes only; actual selection happens at counselling on your SRMJEEE All India Rank.
