About the role

Druva is a cloud-native data protection and cyber-resilience company whose platform is used by nearly 7,500 customers, including 75 of the Fortune 500 (as stated in the official posting). This role sits in a core platform team in the Cloud Apps organisation in Pune, which builds the architectural components behind several SaaS workloads. You will act as the technical leader for the modules your team owns, design large and complex features, and mentor engineers through code and design reviews.

What you will do

Design and implement backend server-side components for Druva's platform services
Lead the design of large, complex features and architectural improvements
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of services used by multiple workloads
Propose solutions to complex design problems and drive engineering improvements
Review code and designs, and mentor junior team members

Skills & eligibility

6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a product company
Strong programming in Go, Python, C/C++, Java or .NET, with solid data structures and algorithms
Experience with service-oriented architecture and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
Experience with third-party API integrations at scale is preferred
Hands-on experience with GenAI-assisted development tools
